Ron Zacapa "Straight from the Cask" is a limited special edition from the popular Guatemalan rum brand. This Zacapa ages up to 23 years at a facility situated high in the mountains (2300 m altitude) near Quetzaltenango in selected white oak casks that were once used for Bourbon and Sherry. After the ageing the casks are brought to the city of Zacapa, where they are blended in a singular big cask with a volume of 1,000 litres. After a second ageing, the rum is bottled directly from this cask with 45 % ABV.

The result of this special bottling is a rich and complex rum that is harmonious in taste with slightly sweet notes of coffee and chocolate. Each bottle is individually numbered and personally signed by Lorena Vasquez, the master blender of Ron Zacapa.
